Sea travel from Bohol called off due to Ada

TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has temporarily suspended the voyage of vessels departing from Eastern Bohol as a precautionary measure following the issuance of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 over parts of the Visayas and Mindanao due to Tropical Depression Ada. In a Notice to Mariners dated January 14, 2026, the Coast Guard Station Eastern Bohol said the suspension covers all vessels and watercraft plying routes from its area of responsibility bound for affected areas, particularly Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.
