Denmark and Greenland have agreed with the United States to establish a joint working group on Greenland after high-level talks in Washington failed to change the US position on the Arctic territory. The meeting brought together Danish foreign minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen , Greenlandic foreign minister Vivian Motzfeldt , US vice-president J. D. Vance and US secretary of state Marco Rubio . The talks were held behind closed doors in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and lasted close to an hour.
