TACLOBAN CITY — About 1,340 passengers were stranded in ports across Eastern Visayas as Tropical Depression Ada brought rains and strong winds to the region. The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in Eastern Visayas imposed a no-sailing policy on Wednesday, affecting passenger vessels, rolling cargoes, and other ships. According to the PCG, 371 rolling cargoes and four vessels remain stranded. The agency said voyages will resume only once weather and sea conditions improve.
