A powerful Arctic cold front is driving temperatures across Florida into the 30s and even 20s, prompting the return of falling iguanas. When temperatures drop below 50 degrees, iguanas can become temporarily immobilized while resting in trees, causing them to lose their grip and fall. Though the condition is not lasting, the reptiles may seems to be lifeless until warmth and sunlight makes a comeback.
