HOHHOT, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- In a humming factory in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, conveyor belts carry plump sunflower seeds through sorting machines, separating them by size and color before sealing them into export-ready bags. Within days, these seeds will depart from Bayannur, a major agricultural hub in the region, destined for ports, ships and ultimately snack bowls thousands of miles away.
