KARACHI: Pakistan Customs at the Air Cargo Control Unit (ACCU), Collectorate of Customs, Airports, Karachi, has successfully intercepted an attempt to smuggle marijuana into Pakistan through the International Mail Office (IMO), Karachi. The contraband, approximately 1.03 kg (gross), valued at Rs.30.716 million, was concealed in a parcel originating from the USA and falsely declared as containing “books.”Legal proceedings have been initiated and further investigation is underway.
