Marcos: Nearly 80% of Metro Manila homes to get sewerage by 2047

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said on Friday that almost 80 percent of households in Metro Manila and nearby provinces will be connected to sewerage systems by 2047, ensuring proper wastewater management. He said this during the inauguration of the Aglipay Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Mandaluyong City, which is set to become one of Manila Water’s largest and most advanced facilities to date.
