"Israeli army personnel could be seen appearing to set up a checkpoint between Ofania and Jabata al-Khashab in the countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, in footage filmed on Thursday.   The video shows Israeli soldiers standing on the road as vehicles passed by. A vehicle and personnel from the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) could also be seen at the location.   Ali al-Hariri, a local resident, claimed the Israeli forces had caused panic and fear among residents, with soldiers searching cars and checking personal identification documents.   Local media reported that Israeli forces established a checkpoint on the road between Ofania and Jabata al-Khashab for more than an hour, during which civilians, vehicles, and pedestrians were searched.   According to reports, UN forces moved toward the checkpoint and remained on site until Israeli forces withdrew toward a nearby military base.
