Building bonds - UAE, Senegal presidents discuss bilateral co-operation during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week

"President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026.   Footage shows the two leaders shaking hands and holding talks at Al Shati Palace, attended by officials from both sides.   According to media reports, the meeting reviewed ways to strengthen co-operation and joint action, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, renewable energy, sustainability, infrastructure and other areas.   The discussions also touched on the themes and issues raised during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 and its role in promoting international co--operation and raising global awareness of sustainability challenges.   Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 began on Tuesday. The event serves as a global platform dedicated to advancing the transition to renewable energy and promoting sustainability and clean technology solutions.
