The inauguration ceremony was attended by former Vice President Tahir Manzoor Chaudhry, LCCI Executive Committee Members Irfan Ahmed Qureshi, Syed Salman Ali, Amna Randhawa, Ahsan Shahid, Iftikhar Ahmed, Rana Shaban Akhtar, along with a large number of representatives from the business community and other commercial circles. Speaking on the occasion, LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol said that Pakistan’s retail market is currently at a critical stage where organised, transparent, and modern business practices are urgently needed. He stated that entrepreneurs like Imran Saleemi, who are introducing innovation, better management, and customer-friendly systems in the retail sector, are a positive example for the economy. He added that modern retail systems not only provide better facilities to consumers but also help improve competition and overall market standards. The LCCI president said that in the present economic situation, when the cost of doing business has increased significantly and industries and trade are facing multiple challenges, the opening of new chain stores is a welcome development. He noted that such businesses are creating direct and indirect employment opportunities, which is boosting economic activity at the local level and supporting the national economy. He further said that an organised retail sector can also benefit local industry by improving the marketing of domestic products, strengthening supply chains, and creating growth opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises. He emphasised that if the business community invests in line with modern requirements and adopts innovative thinking, economic stability can be achieved. Addressing the ceremony, Mian Anjum Nisar expressed hope that such business initiatives would not only improve facilities at the city level but also play an important role in restoring business confidence. He said that the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry would continue to encourage positive initiatives taken by the private sector and would keep working for the resolution of issues faced by the business community. Vice President Khurram Lodhi conveyed his best wishes to Imran Saleemi and said that such projects are a positive step toward economic stability and sustainable development in the country.
