Ada maintains strength; 5 Luzon areas still under Signal No. 2

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Ada continued to maintain its strength with Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 raised over five Luzon areas on Saturday afternoon, the state weather bureau said.  In its 2 p.m. update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the center of Ada was last spotted 95 kilometers east-northeast of Virac, Catanduanes or 220 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte.  READ: Ada now over Catanduanes waters; Signal No. 2 still up in 6 areas Pagasa said that Ada was still carrying maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour (kph) near the […]...
