A pedestrian was killed Friday night after being struck by a gray SUV while attempting to cross Kuykendahl Road in north Harris County in an area without a crosswalk. The driver and passenger of the SUV were not injured, remained on the scene, and cooperated with authorities. The Harris County Sheriff's Office does not suspect impairment on the driver's part, and the incident is under investigation by the Vehicular Crimes Division.
