LAHORE: President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol, met with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. During the meeting, they held detailed discussions on the country’s current economic situation, law and order, administrative issues faced by the business community, and measures to promote investment. During the meeting, Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol said that creating a business-friendly environment is essential for sustainable economic growth and effective law and order is a key requirement for this. He stressed that continuous coordination and consultation between government institutions and business organizations is necessary to resolve the issues faced by industries, traders, and investors. He informed the Interior Minister that improved security arrangements not only boost business activities but also increase the confidence of local and foreign investors. He added that if proper facilities are provided to the business community, it can play a strong role in economic recovery and job creation. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the role of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and said that the business community is the backbone of the national economy. He assured that the government is taking serious steps to ensure law and order, enforce the rule of law, and improve the business environment to encourage investment and stabilize economic activities. He further said that the government is promoting close cooperation with the private sector and giving importance to the suggestions of business organizations in policymaking.
