European Union lawmakers are moving to stall approval of the EU–US trade deal after US President Donald Trump threatened tariffs on European countries backing Greenland against US claims. Manfred Weber, head of the European People’s Party, said the deal cannot move forward for now and that plans to cut EU tariffs on US goods should be paused.
