LEGAZPI CITY — More than 6,000 (6,171) passengers are still stranded in the various ports in the Bicol region on Sunday (Jan. 18) due to Tropical Storm Ada. The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Bicol said as of 8 a.m., 2,244 rolling cargoes and three vessels were also stranded, while another 44 vessels were taking shelter at the ports of Masbate and Sorsogon. PCG said its personnel are on heightened alert to respond to any eventualities amid the bad weather.
