It's a paw-ty! India's biggest pet festival draws crowds of animal lovers to Bengaluru

"India's largest pet festival, Pet Fed, returned to Bangaluru's KTPO grounds over the weekend, as thousands of pet owners and their companions gathered for a day of tail-wagging festivities and furry-filled fun. Footage captured on Saturday shows visitors arriving at the ground with their furry companions and participating in competitions. "We love coming to Pet Fed. You get to explore so many brands, and you get to see firsthand what's happening in the pet care industry. It's a very good activity for pets to mingle with other pets, and explore; they don't get to meet so many pets in the city," a visitor remarked. "We've come to Pet Fed because it's nice to see so many different brands and people coming together to celebrate pets and raise awareness about different breeds and types of nutrition or medicine," a pet owner added. Organisers say the event promotes responsible pet ownership, with activities, workshops, and interactive sessions on animal welfare. The event featured the thrilling Security Dog Show, the chic Pet Fashion Show, and the action-packed Pet's Got Talent competition. It also showcased a dedicated cat zone, expert-led master classes, and a marketplace featuring over 100 stalls. The festival, which holds the Limca World Record for being the 'Biggest Dog Carnival' in India, features over 100 stalls bursting with colour, offering an array of pet products, accessories, food, and bespoke grooming services. Pet Fed, marking its 11th edition this year, is a multi-city event that kicked off in Pune in November, followed by dates in New Delhi and Bengaluru. The annual expo will finish in Mumbai in March."
