CITY OF CALAPAN, Oriental Mindoro — Three minor earthquakes struck parts of Occidental Mindoro on Sunday, Jan. 18, but authorities said no damage or aftershocks were expected. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported the latest tremor occurred at 8:20 p.m., registering a magnitude of 1.4 at a depth of 9 kilometers.
