Ada maintains strength over Philippine Sea – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Ada (international name: Nokaen) maintained its strength on Monday as it moved across the Philippine Sea, away from Luzon, state meteorologists said. In its 11 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported that Ada was last spotted 445 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora. Ada is moving northeast at 10 kilometers per hour (kph), with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gusts up to 70 kph.
