Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, has commended the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) for what he described as a marked improvement in power supply across the region, noting that electricity has remained largely stable since June 2025. Speaking during a courtesy call by ECG management at the Regional Coordinating Council in Kumasi on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Dr Amoakohene said the reduction in outages was evident and had positively impacted residents and businesses.
