History takes shape! - Da Lat Clay Village fashions Vietnam's landmarks and culture in life-sized sculptures

"Da Lat's Clay Village showcases intricate basalt clay sculptures that reflect the city's rich and immersive cultural artistry, drawing hundreds of tourists every year to the Vietnamese mountain city. Footage filmed on Monday shows visitors strolling through the village and taking photographs in the village, which features large human-faced sculptures and a clay model of the iconic Da Lat Railway Station. "The unbaked clay house project has just achieved two Vietnamese records, and the infinity pool project is a hot trend in Da Lat. Many domestic and international tourists who come here ask us about the location of the infinity pool," shared Kieu Nga, a representative of the Clay Village. Sculpture Tunnel, which was constructed in 2008 and opened in 2013, covers an area of 1,500 metres in width and 2,000 metres in length, according to to Kga. The tourist attraction is divided into two sections: Old Da Lat and the city's modern structures. "Before entering, tourists were very excited and eager because they were told that the clay village was a magnificent structure. In reality, after visiting, they were even more overwhelmed with emotion," said Nguyen Thi Tram, a tour guide. "There are many typical landmarks of Da Lat city, such as Da Lat train station, the Chicken Church, the Valley of Love, in addition to statues of forest spirits, and especially the symbol of love here. Tourists were extremely delighted and satisfied when coming to Da Lat and especially this clay tunnel," she continued. The tunnel beautifully narrates Da Lat's history, culture and iconic landmarks through its meticulously carved exhibits. Each sculpture stands as a testament to the craftsmanship of Vietnamese artisans, capturing the essence of the city's architectural and cultural evolution."
