(UPDATE) THE Sandiganbayan’s Third Division ordered the arrest of former senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla on Monday, hours the criminal cases were raffled off. The anti-graft court also directed the issuance of a hold departure order against Revilla and his co-accused -- former Drpaublic of Public Works and Highways engineers Brice Hernandez, former assistant district engineer; Jaypee Mendoza; Arjay Domasig; Emelita Juat; Juanito Mendoza; and Christina Pineda. Early Monday, the court raffled off to two divisions flood control cases against the former senator. Case number E-SB26CRM0001 went to the court’s Fourth Division composed of Associate Justice Michael Frederick Musngi as chairman, and Associate Justices Arthur Malabaguio and Ermin Ernest Louie Miguel. The case for alleged malversation through falsification, or case number E-SB26CRM0002, was raffled off to the Third Division made up of Associate Justice Karl Miranda as chairman, and Associate Justices Ronald Moreno and Fritz Bryn Anthony Delos Santos. The Office of the Ombudsman charged Revilla and several DPWH officials before the Sandiganbayan last January 16 in connection with an alleged ghost project in Pandi, Bulacan. In November 2025, the Ombudsman charged former congressman Elizaldy “Zaldy” Co and other individuals including officials of the DPWH Mimaropa in connection with a dike construction project in Oriental Mindoro. The case, docketed as SB-25-CRM-0039, which was filed for alleged violation of Section 3(e) of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act against multiple people, was raffled off to the Sandiganbayan’s Fifth Division. The case for alleged malversation through falsification of public documents, docketed as SB-25-CRM-0041, went to the Sixth Division. SB-25-CRM-0040, a case against Co for violation of the anti-graft law, was raffled off to the Seventh Division.
