In a strongly-worded press statement issued on Sunday, January 19, 2026, UTAG-UG demanded that Prof. Ahmed Jinapor Abdulai and Prof. Augustine Ocloo step down by January 31, 2026, or face a petition to the Chief of Staff and possible industrial action.
