CALAPAN CITY, Philippines — The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded three consecutive earthquakes in the province of Romblon late Tuesday, prompting authorities to advise residents to remain alert but calm, according to an announcement from the Romblon Provincial Information Office.
