MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila and Rizal will have water service interruptions this week because of maintenance and repair works, Manila Water and Maynilad said on Sunday. Manila Water said some areas in Brgy. Malamig and Brgy. Hulo in Mandaluyong City will have no water on February 23-24 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities to detect possible leaks in the system. In Taguig City, some parts of Brgy. Bagumbayan, Brgy. Sta. Ana and Brgy. Western Bicutan will have water interruptions on February 23-24, February 25-26, and February 26-27, respectively, between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities. Some portions of Brgy. Rosario and Brgy. Kalawaan in Pasig City will have no water on February 24-25 and February 25-26, respectively, between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing works. Some locations in the villages of Old Capitol Site, Bahay Toro, San Roque, and Masagana in Quezon City will have water interruptions on February 24-25 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. also because of step testing activities. Water service interruptions were also scheduled in some areas of Brgy. Matandang Balara and Brgy. Pasong Tamo on February 25-26, and in some portions of Brgy. Pinagkaisahan and Brgy. Sacred Heart on February 26-27 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing works for detection of leaks. Some areas in Major Marcos Street in Brgy. Matandang Balara and Hobart Homes in Brgy. Pasong Tamo in Quezon City will also have no water on February 25-26 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to water adequacy testing to ensure it is safe to use. In Rizal, some parts of Brgy. Ampid II in San Mateo will have water interruptions on February 24-25 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to zero pressure testing. Also, some locations in Brgy. San Vicente, Brgy. Sto. Niño, Brgy. Kalayaan in Angono, and some places in Brgy. San Jose and Brgy. Dalig in Antipolo will have service interruptions on February 25-26 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities. Some areas along Robinsons East Homes in Brgy. San Jose in Antipolo, and some parts of Brgy. San Juan in Taytay will have no water on February 26-27 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing works. Also, some portions of Brgy. Sipsipin Special District, Brgy. Sipsipin Second District, Brgy. Sipsipin Third District, Brgy. Bayugo, Brgy. Punta, Brgy. Palaypalay, Brgy. Pagkalinawan, Brgy. Lubo, and Brgy. Bagumbong in Jalajala, Rizal will have water interruptions on February 26-27 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of interconnection works. Meanwhile, Maynilad said that in Valenzuela City, some areas in the villages of Gen. T. De Leon, Karuhatan, Malinta, Marulasan, Maysan and Parada will have scheduled water interruptions every day on February 23-27 between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. because of network maintenance activities. Some parts of Brgy. Arkong Bato, Brgy. Palasan, Brgy. Poblacion and Brgy. Rincon in Valenzuela City will have service interruptions on February 23-24 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of network maintenance activities. Some places in Brgy. Dampalit and Brgy. Hulong Duhat in Malabon City and some areas in Brgy. Tanza 1 and Brgy. Tanza 2 in Navotas City will have no water on February 23 between 12:01 a.m. and 3 a.m. because of isolation dry run activities. In Caloocan City and nearby Manila, some places in the villages of 36, 39, 189 to 191, 193, 194 and 196 will have water interruptions every day on February 22-March 1 between 11:59 p.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration works. Also, some areas near the Torresville Inline Booster in Brgy. 166, some places near the Saranay Inline Booster in Brgy. 171, and some locations near the Parkland Inline Booster in Brgy. 177 will have no water on February 23 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. due to the replacement of Meralco meters in the area. Some areas in Brgy. 8, Caloocan will have water interruptions on February 23-24 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of interconnection and decommissioning of pipe systems. In Manila, some locations in the villages of 292, 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 299, 300, 301, 303 to 305 in Binondo will have no water every day on February 22-March 1 between 11:59 p.m. and 3 a.m. due to leak exploration activities. Some places in the villages of 745, 746, 747, 748, 749, 750, 751, 752, 753, 754, 769, 803 and 807 will have no water on February 23-24 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of network repair activities at Estrada St. corner Espiritu St., Manila. Some areas in the villages of 198, 199, 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 209, 210, 211, 213, 216, 217, 219, 220, 48, 49, 50, 51,53, 55, 155, 221, 222, 223, 224 225, 227, 228, 229, 231, 232, 353, 354, 355, 356, 359, 360, 363, 364, 365, 366, 367, 368, 369, 373, 374, 377, 378, 380, 382, 492, 32, 34, 35, 42, 45, 46, 77, 81, 82, 83, 86, 87, 91, 92, 93, 124, 128, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 138, 139, 140, 146, 177, 178, 179, 180, 181, 182, 183, and 649 in Tondo will also have water interruptions on February 22-March 1 between 11:59 p.m. and 3 a.m. due also to leak exploration activities. Cruz will also have water interruptions on February 22-March 1 between 11:59 p.m. and 3 a.m. due to leak exploration. Parts of Brgy. 524, Brgy. 525, Brgy. 529, Brgy. 532, Brgy. 533 and Brgy. 535 in Sampaloc will have no water on February 22-March 1 between 11:59 p.m. and 3 a.m. due to leak exploration activities. Some places in the villages of 396, 397, 398, 399, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 430, 457 and 460 in Santa Cruz, and some areas in the villages of 147, 148 149, 151, 152, 163, 169, 170, and 171 in Tondo will have water interruptions on February 23-March 1 between 12:01 a.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration. In Quezon City, some parts of Brgy. Bagong Silangan will have service interruptions on February 23-24 between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of interconnection works. In Brgy. Payatas, some areas will have no water on February 23-24 between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of the installation of a blow-off valve. Some portions of Brgy. Bahay Toro will have water interruptions on February 23-24 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of leak detection activities.
