LUCENA CITY – State security forces on Friday, Feb. 21, recovered high-powered firearms allegedly buried by members of the New People’s Army (NPA) in Buenavista town in Quezon province, the military said. In a report released Saturday, the Army’s 85th Infantry Battalion said joint elements of the unit and local police dug up three M16 rifles and two M203 40mm grenade launchers along the boundary of Barangays San Isidro Ilaya and Rizal.
