Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has strongly criticized Janata Dal (Secular) leaders H.D. Kumaraswamy and H.D. Deve Gowda. He accused them of promoting family interests over the Vokkaliga community's political advancement. Siddaramaiah highlighted the Congress party's historical role in nurturing Vokkaliga leadership. He asserted the Congress remains the party for merit-based leadership opportunities for all communities.
