"The UAE's 'Chivalrous Knight 3' operation dispatched a new batch of aid convoys to the Gaza Strip on Sunday, carrying over 30 tonnes of medical supplies and medications as part of ongoing efforts to bolster the enclave's healthcare system. Footage shows trucks loaded with relief supplies lined up at Egypt's Rafah crossing, volunteers inspecting the cargo, and vehicles moving through the border point to enter Gaza. According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), the medical aid convoy's entry coincides with 'broader relief efforts'. "The UAE medical assistance team in Al-Arish city operates around the clock preparing medical convoys and organising shipments based on actual requirements from the field hospital and medical center, through careful sorting, packing, and coordination to ensure needed supplies are directed promptly, accelerate movement, and maximise efficiency in aid delivery," the agency continued. This week has seen the entry of various relief convoys, including Ramadan food parcels and winter clothing, according to reports. The UAE launched Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 on November 5, 2023, under directives from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to provide humanitarian relief to Palestinians in Gaza following the outbreak of conflict between Israel and Hamas on October 7, 2023."
