'Great performance' meets 'abysmal defending' - Police on alert as Arsenal crash Tottenham 4-1, move five points clear in North London derby

"Arsenal strengthened their grip on the Premier League title race with a 4-1 win over rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby on Sunday. Footage shows team buses arrive, with fans filing through security checks and chanting before kick-off. Officers are later seen forming lines and separating supporters as tensions rise around the ground. Two goals each from Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres secured the victory at Tottenham's home ground, moving Arsenal five points clear at the top of the table. "That was a great performance today, good all-round. We needed that after what happened Wednesday. I thought we played really well from start to finish," said Lee, an Arsenal fan. "We didn't look as nervous as what we had done in the last couple of games. I don't know if you noticed it as well. I felt there was a change of approach on us today," he added. Tottenham supporters voiced frustration after the match. "I think it was quite a disappointing second half… we just couldn't really perform. Second half, it's crumbled away.  A bit of a shame, really," shared Matt, a Spurs backer, citing a lack of squad depth. Another supporter described the defending as 'abysmal' and claimed injuries had left the team 'down to the bare bones'. "I mean, we've got 17 first team injuries, and then you're down to the bare bones, and then you defend, at least go and have a go, but it just doesn't happen in football anymore," he stressed. "We were dreadful. Absolutely dreadful," he declared. "Our defending was absolutely abysmal. Eze hasn't scored since the North London Derby, and we let him rock up and score twice. I just don't get it." Arsenal have 10 league games remaining in their bid for a first top-flight title since 2004."
