QUETTA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) killed five terrorists, including a suspected suicide bomber, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Pishin district of Balochistan, said a statement on Monday. The operation took place near the old Surkhab refugee camp in the district. A CTD spokesperson said a heavy exchange of fire took place during the law enforcers’ raid on the terrorist hideout. As a result, a suspected suicide bomber and his four accomplices were killed. The statement added that the terrorists had “planned to attack the police lines and Cade College Pishin”. Security forces are conducting further investigation into the incident.
