RAMON, ISABELA – A newly-born baby boy was found on the banks of Macaniao creek’s bank in Barangay Ambatali here on Monday, February 23, the police said. Police Major Jay-ar Olya-on, Ramon, Isabela police chief, said bystanders spotted the infant, whose umbilical cord was still attached, wrapped in a black pillowcase and placed in a round tub at the creek’s bank.   The witness informed the police, who immediately went to the area and brought the infant to the Ramon Rural Health Unit birthing center  for medical check-up before the baby’s turnover to the social welfare department.
