National Guard minister inspects anti-riot battalion in Hail

HAIL — National Guard Minister Prince Abdullah bin Bandar inspected the headquarters of Anti-Riot Battalion 111 in Hail, affiliated with the Khalifa Omar bin Abdulaziz Brigade for Special Security at the Ministry of National Guard.He was received upon arrival by Chief of the Military Apparatus Lt. Gen. Saleh Al-Harbi, Khalifa Omar bin Abdulaziz Brigade Commander Maj. Gen. Reda Al-Anzi, and a number of regiment leaders.The royal anthem was played before the ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an.The brigade commander delivered a speech welcoming the minister and praising his continued support for National Guard forces, saying the visit serves as motivation for personnel to further enhance their efforts in serving the Kingdom.Prince Abdullah reviewed a visual presentation showcasing the latest vehicles and equipment equipped with advanced military technologies.The minister also visited the 16th Regiment, where he was received by its commander Affas bin Turki bin Muhaya, and was briefed on its duties and roles.He later inspected the 23rd Regiment, where he was received by its commander Mohammed bin Malhan bin Bassis, and reviewed the regiment’s operations.
