The legal team of Yoon Suk-yeol, South Korea's former president, filed an appeal on Tuesday against the first-instance verdict on his insurrection charges, according to Yonhap News Agency. Yoon was sentenced to life in prison last Thursday on charges of insurrection. (File photo
