De Lijn’s bus and tram drivers to strike in protest at additional funding cuts for Flemish public transport

The trade unions at the Flemish public transport company De Lijn have issued a strike notice for 9 days of strike action during March and April. The action will be spread across Flanders. The unions decided to issue the strike notice in reaction to further cuts in funding for the Flemish public transport company that were announced by the Flemish Government at the end of next month.
