Saudi Arabia opens Hajj registration for citizens, residents within Kingdom

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on Tuesday announced that registration has opened for Saudi citizens and residents living in the Kingdom who wish to perform Hajj this year, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.Citizens and residents with valid residency permits can apply through the Nusuk application or the official Nusuk website starting from Tuesday, according to the ministry.For more news on Saudi Arabia, visit our dedicated page.The option to book Hajj packages will be available from March 3.The ministry said that priority during this phase – which lasts until the end of the month of Shawwal – will be given to individuals who have not previously performed Hajj.If seats remain available, bookings will open to all other eligible applicants, the ministry added.Applicants must be at least 15 years old and comply with approved health requirements, according to the ministry.For residents, a valid residency permit is required, with priority given to those whose residency was issued
