With the 2026 Miss Universe Philippines pageant turning out to be another bout with seasoned aspirants, the competition also serves as a reunion for Manila’s Justine Felizarta in more ways than one. The contender from Manila will once again walk the pageant stage with Ashley Subijano from Luisiana, Laguna, four years since their stint in the Miss World Philippines competition in 2022. Subijano, daughter of 1994 Binibining Pilipinas-World Cara Subijano, ended up with the Miss Eco Philippines crown, while Felizarta finished as “First Princess,” receiving the Miss World Philippines-Tourism title.
