KIGALI — President Paul Kagame of Rwanda received Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Al-Khereiji in Kigali on Tuesday. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and explored ways to strengthen and expand them across various fields. The two sides also discussed regional and international developments and ongoing efforts to address them.At the outset of the meeting, Al-Khereiji conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, along with their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of Rwanda. In turn, President Kagame offered his greetings to King Salman and the Crown Prince, expressing his wishes for further development and prosperity for Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and its people. Also on Tuesday, Al-Khereiji met with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Rwanda Usta Kaitesi. They discussed ways to further enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields and reviewed topics of mutual interest.
