BAGUIO CITY — The municipal government of Lamut in Ifugao province suspended work in its offices and classes in both public and private schools on Wednesday in observance of the Edsa People Power anniversary. Mayor Mariano Buyagawan Jr. issued Executive Order No. 23, series of 2026, declaring a localized suspension to allow government employees and students to commemorate the uprising that unfolded in the national capital from Feb. 22 to Feb. 25, 1986, or 40 years ago.
