MANILA, Philippines — Manila Electric Co., led by billionaire Manuel V. Pangilinan, recorded a strong 2025 finish as its bottom line reached over P50 billion, fueled by its electricity distribution and generation businesses. In a media briefing Wednesday, Betty Siy-Yap, Meralco chief finance officer, said the group’s consolidated core net income had hit P50.57 billion, 12 percent up from last year’s P45.14 billion.
