BOC files criminal raps vs 3 consignees over illegal agri importation

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has submitted six drafts of criminal complaints against three consignees to the Department of Finance (DOF) over illegal importation of agricultural products.  In a statement on Wednesday, the BOC said that the complaints stemmed from several seizure operations in June 2025. The BOC noted that the consignees violated the Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act.  The BOC said that the agricultural products subject to the complaints amounted to P90 million, based on the price index set by the Department of Agriculture.
