Geneva in the spotlight - Picturesque Swiss city gears up for crunch US talks with Iran and Ukraine

"The Swiss city of Geneva remained unmistakably calm on Wednesday as it prepared to host high-stakes negotiations on Iran’s nuclear programme, as well as a new round of bilateral talks involving the United States and Ukraine. People can be seen going about their daily activities and traffic moving along the streets. Footage also shows the exterior of the InterContinental Geneve, which is set to host the negotiators. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his negotiating team arrived in Geneva ahead of what could be the final round of crunch negotiations with the US in Switzerland. Meanwhile, US special envoy Steve Witkoff and US President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are expected to represent Washington. The talks are taking place against the backdrop of a major US military build-up in the Middle East and threats from Donald Trump of a possible attack on Iran should negotiations fail. Meanwhile, Ukrainian and US negotiating teams are also expected to hold talks on Thursday to outline the contours of a potential peace deal, ahead of another trilateral meeting with Russia."
