Sindh govt plans to introduce new projects for women farmers: Sharjeel

KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the unfortunate incident that took place in Kohat is highly condemnable, no matter how much it is condemned, our youth are fighting bravely against terrorists and are making sacrifices for the peace of the country. Sharjeel Inam Memon said that a railway line is being laid up to Tharparkar to improve travel and trade links, the Sindh government has invested one billion dollars in the Thar Coal project to strengthen the energy sector. Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the biggest challenge facing Pakistan is the energy crisis, the cheapest electricity is being generated from Sindh coal, the government has spent billions of dollars on coal projects and provided electricity to the national grid, the electricity generated from coal is being provided to the whole of Pakistan, it is being included in the national grid. He said that the government has invested more than eight billion dollars on coal projects. Coal has emerged as an important and effective source in the energy sector. Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the Bhutto Highway project is in the final stages of completion, its formal inauguration is expected in the first or second week of April, the money collected under the infrastructure cess is being deposited in the Supreme Court, the funds received under this section are not being received by the Sindh government, the government has formed a committee under the leadership of Mukesh Chawla to resolve this issue.
