MANILA, Philippines – The International Criminal Court’s (ICC) Office of the Prosecutor (OTP) on Thursday asserted the independence of its investigations. This is in response to the recent claims of supposed former Marines through Atty. Levito Baligod, who alleged that some of the ICC’s expenses in the Philippines were funded by former Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV and former Ako-Bicol partylist Rep. Elizaldy “Zaldy” Co.
