Bom Kim, Coupang founder and chairman of the U.S.-headquartered Coupang Inc., issued his first public apology regarding last year’s large-scale customer data breach in Korea, during an earnings call, Friday (Korea Standard Time). Speaking during Coupang Inc.'s earnings call for the fourth-quarter of last year, Kim said he once again apologize for the customer concern and inconvenience caused by the personal data leak that occurred last year.
