Police are hunting for two offenders who seriously injured a person in a Hamilton road rage incident. Detective Alistair Hill said police are appealing for information after the road-rage assault left a person in a serious condition. Police were called about 9am after a person was reportedly assaulted at the intersection of Massey St and Korimako St. Hill said the offenders fled. “The victim was transported to hospital, by ambulance, in a serious condition,” Hill said. Hill said the assault appeared to be a road-rage incident, believed to have started on Higgins Rd. The incident then made its way to the intersection where the assault occurred. “Police know there were at least two offenders but are yet to identify them or their vehicle, and are now asking the public for their help,” Hill said. People with information, or who have dashcam footage, should get in touch. “Please reference file number 260227/4370,” police said.
