MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City Hall of Justice received a bomb threat on Friday although explosives experts found "no hazardous materials, explosive, incendiary or similar devices" during an inspection, police said. Police said in a statement that they responded to a call at 8:48 a.m. from a clerk-in-charge who claimed to have received a text message that a bomb was planted in the area. Upon receipt of the information, the Kamuning Police Station 10 immediately proceeded to the location to conduct area monitoring. The QCPD Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit also responded and conducted panelling and sweeping operations within the building. Meanwhile, coordination with the Quezon City District Anti-Cybercrime Team was initiated to identify the sender of the text message.
