MANILA, Philippines — A Korean fugitive who is the subject of an Interpol red notice for investment fraud is set to be deported after his arrest by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) in Pasig City, the agency said on Saturday.  According to the BI, 45-year-old Jun Hwanhwi was arrested along Sapphire Street, Ortigas Center in Pasig City on Feb. 18.  The BI noted that he was arrested pursuant to a deportation order issued in 2021 after the fugitive was tagged as an “undesirable alien” “for posing a risk to public safety and security.” READ: South Korean drug suspect rearrested after […]...
