Dogs have an impact on indoor air quality, as shown by a study from Lausanne. For the first time, the gases, particles, and microbes introduced by dogs were measured. The results are intended to contribute to more realistic models of indoor air, according to the EPFL. While the impact of humans on the air is well-researched, that of pets has been little studied so far.
