MANILA, Philippines — Multi-awarded veteran Filipino photojournalist and humanitarian Alex Baluyut passed away at the age of 69, his wife Precious Leano confirmed on Friday, Feb. 27. A respected figure in Philippine documentary photography, Baluyut documented some of the nation’s most critical turning points such as the final years of Martial Law and the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution.
