MANILA, Philippines — Vision impairment continues to hinder the learning and development of Filipino children, prompting Sen. Mark A. Villar to file a measure that seeks to expand access to eye care services nationwide. Villar recently filed Senate Bill No. 1886, or the Vision Care for Kids Act, which aims to establish a grant program dedicated to providing vision care services to children, particularly those in underserved communities.
