MANILA, Philippines — The country will have fair weather on Sunday due to the easterlies, the state-run weather agency said.. Veronica Torres of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said it has not monitored any weather disturbance forming inside or outside the Philippine area of responsibility in the coming days. Torres said that although the northeast monsoon or "amihan" has eased, it was expected to resurface in the next few days but its impact would no longer be as strong. Pagasa said when this happens, the country would be experiencing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
